The first-night problem
A prepared arrival handles the small dependencies in order: verification, the right map pin, the current transport branch, and a hotel identity a driver can read.
Verify eligibility before travel; if an Arrival Card is required, complete it free at the border. Advance filing is optional.
For a compatible, unlocked phone, prepare an international or Hong Kong-routed travel eSIM, offline translation, Alipay, and Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay), then keep cash and ATM fallbacks.
Work through PVG immigration, baggage and Customs before choosing staffed help, official taxi, DiDi, Metro Line 2, Maglev, Airport Link, or the late-night bus.
Use AMap and the hotel address card maker to distinguish the correct property, branch, address, district, and phone.
Coverage, in arrival order
Start with the stage you are in. Each view shows the decision, what the fixed kit covers, and the safe next step if a live app, queue, or timetable has changed.
Entry eligibility, passport and visa rules, customs, health instructions, medicines, power and airline baggage rules are separate checks.
Check carrier lock plus device and region compatibility, then install an international or Hong Kong-routed travel eSIM on trusted internet and download an Apple or Google offline translation pack before departure.
Use the official Alipay path and two sequential Weixin Pay pages: setup first, then scan or show a code and find the payment record. Keep the issuer statement, RMB cash and an ATM fallback.
Save the hotel’s English and Chinese names, full Chinese address, district, phone and booking ID, then compare them in AMap before pickup or boarding.
Move through immigration, baggage, Customs and public Arrivals in order. If checked baggage is missing or damaged, report it to the operating airline or ground handler before Customs and keep the written irregularity report or reference number.
Compare four complete chains only after baggage and Customs: official taxi to the hotel; verified ride-hail pickup to the hotel; Airport Link, Maglev, or Metro Line 2 plus the exact last mile; or the official late-night bus plus the exact last mile.
At a normal hotel, show each guest's passport and booking; the hotel handles the guest record. Only a private or other non-hotel stay triggers the 24-hour registration rule.
Dynamic facts need a final pass. Entry rules, schedules, fees, app labels and hotel details can move. Recheck the cited official source and your own trip facts 24 to 72 hours before departure.

The product is preparation, not a guarantee that a visa or entry decision, bank, app, train, taxi, network, map result, or hotel will behave as expected. It does not automatically obtain or verify a visa and it cannot produce a live route for every hotel. If safety is at risk, use official staff or emergency services instead of troubleshooting from a guide.

A bounded delivery remedy
Basic: confirm the checkout email, allow 24 hours after successful payment, and check spam or junk. Then contact support within 30 calendar days after payment if the delivery email has not arrived or an included file is missing or cannot be opened.
Plus: no application, order, payment, delivery clock, or custom-work remedy is available while the service is paused.
Basic does not guarantee a third-party service or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
